Identification and screening of ELL’s.
Manage all required parent communication for identified ELL’s.
Audit ACCESS score reports and exit students based on test results.
Plan/Support the school in allaspects of yearly ACCESS assessment/testing of ELL’s.
Professional Development/Training of Effective ELL Instructional Methodology
The 8 components of Sheltered Instructional Observation Protocol (SIOP).
Using the SIOP model for: lesson planning and delivery and continuous assessment of student understanding.
Writing Language Objectives.
Sheltered English Instruction (SEI) and effective strategies to make content comprehensible to ELL’s.
Use of Collaborative Instructional strategies and Graphic Organizers to increase reading comprehension.
